More Than a Gym
Throughout history, wells were places where communities gathered.
Throughout history, wells were places where communities gathered. People came to draw water, rest, share stories, and find what they needed before continuing their journey.
I believe we still need places like that today.
The Well exists to be one of them..a place where people can train, recover and gather in pursuit of restoration and longevity.
Meet the Founder
Hannah Hunter
I grew up just a few miles from here on a horse ranch, and I wouldn’t change a single thing about my childhood. Cat Spring gave me an appreciation for hard work, family, community, and taking care of what you’ve been given. I didn’t fully understand how much those values shaped me until I left.
And when I left, I had no intention of coming back.
After graduating from New Mexico State University, I moved to Denver, where I earned an internship at Vital Training Systems, a high performance training gym. There, I had the opportunity to learn from some of the best coaches in the industry and see firsthand just how professional, impactful, and evidence driven the fitness industry could be. It confirmed that this wasn’t simply something I loved. It was the career I wanted to build.
Over the years that followed, I became a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach, tennis professional and competitive tennis player, and eventually a two time OCB Natural Bikini Bodybuilding Champion. But some of my most meaningful growth happened quietly, through years of internship, coaching, and continuing to study biomechanics, functional movement, nutrition, recovery, and evidence based training.
I’ve had the privilege of working with women through many seasons of life, from prenatal and postpartum to perimenopause and menopause, weight management, strength building, and athletic performance. Those experiences have reinforced one of my strongest beliefs as a coach: no two people are the same, and effective coaching begins by understanding the whole person, not just their fitness goal.
To this day, I’m fascinated by the way movement, nutrition, recovery, stress, and lifestyle work together to shape our health. My coaching philosophy continues to evolve alongside the research, but the goal remains the same: to help people build strength that serves them for life, not simply change how they look.
While living in Denver and New Mexico, I also fell in love with the wellness culture that surrounded me. Health wasn’t something people squeezed into an hour at the gym; it was part of their lifestyle. Friends met for workouts, sauna sessions, coffee, or protein shakes. Movement and wellness became ways to connect with other people.
After the sudden loss of my father in 2025, I made the decision to come home. At the time, I thought I was simply returning to be closer to my family. Looking back, I think I was being led home for reasons I couldn’t yet see.
I founded my private training business, Full Spectrum Training, and began coaching people in the community that raised me. I found myself working with people I had grown up around, people who knew my family, knew where I came from, and trusted me enough to let me be part of their own health journeys.
Over the next year, I watched my clients get stronger, regain confidence, move without pain, accomplish things they didn’t think they could do, and begin prioritizing themselves in entirely new ways. They trusted me with their health, their goals, and their stories, and I saw what could happen when people were given the right support, education, and environment.
Somewhere in the middle of all of that, I realized maybe coming home wasn’t the end of the life I had built elsewhere. Maybe it was the reason I had built it in the first place.
That’s when my vision began to expand beyond personal training.
Health and wellness have carried me through some of the hardest seasons of my own life. Training gave me somewhere to put my energy. Movement gave me structure. Discipline taught me that caring for yourself is not always about doing what feels easiest. It is about consistently choosing what allows you to become stronger.
To me, health and wellness are a lifestyle. They are among the most powerful examples we can set for our children and some of the most valuable habits we can bring into our families. I believe our bodies are our temples, and that one of the greatest forms of self love is the discipline and devotion to take care of them.
That belief is at the heart of The Well.
I wanted to create a place where meeting a friend for a workout, a sauna session, or a protein shake feels just as natural as meeting for chips, queso, and margaritas. A place where taking care of yourself is social, enjoyable, and simply part of everyday life.
Because we can’t evolve without a place to grow.
The Well is more than a gym to me. It is a space dedicated to movement, recovery, and connection, built on the belief that taking care of ourselves allows us to show up better for everything and everyone we love.
I’ve been fortunate to live in incredible places and learn from people who changed the way I see health, fitness, and community. But Cat Spring will always be home.
I left thinking I would never come back. What I couldn’t have known then was that the experiences I gained while I was away would eventually give me the opportunity to come home and build the biggest thing I’ve ever built.
The Well is my way of investing back into the community that raised me, bringing health and wellness back to the land that first taught me what it means to be strong.
And in a way, it feels like I was always meant to come home.
Why The Well Exists
The Well exists to be a place of restoration.
My hope is that every person who walks through these doors finds exactly what they need.
Whether that’s a place to pursue your fitness goals, recover from the demands of everyday life, or just take some time for yourself.
My hope is that you leave stronger, more grounded than when you arrived and ready to return home to the people you love as the best version of yourself.
I’m honored to welcome you to The Well.
